Originally from Neuchâtel, Orane Burri studied and worked in Paris in documentary and advertising for 12 years, before relocating to Switzerland in 2012. Keen to give a voice “to those who are fighting against the absurdity of a world we’d like to believe is unchanging”, she has produced both documentary and fiction films (Tabou, NON, Nettoyeurs de Guerre, Dublin Le Prix du Gaz- une résistance citoyenne…), which have won both Swiss and international acclaim.
Always seeking to involve audiences in her projects, she explores different forms and formats (documentary, fiction, animation, installations, transmedia, interactive theater). With this in mind, she created her own production in 2016, “Les Regardiens”.
